156th and Fort Street lot....

Post by leighblauvelt »

There are a couple things being developed in our area if anyone knows what is being build could you please let me know.
First- on the corner of 156th and Saratoga
2nd on the corner of 156th And Fort.

Both have been vacant since we bought our home 10 years ago.

Anyone have ideas?

All of the SW corner of 156th and Fort is owned by Stone Creek Plaza, so it is probably an extension of the strip mall.
NW corner of 156th & Saratoga is owned by Rainbow Rascals out of Troy Michigan.

Thanks for the information. Curious if they will be building a gas station or just more of the strip mall. Any ideas? or know where I can look to find out

Years ago (want to see around 2006) there were plans to have a Bucky's there. Even had a coming soon sign.

NOt sure if a gas station is what I want on the corner but developing the empty lots will be great. Been 10 years of waiting. Super excited about the development on 168th and Fort with the Dam

It's not exciting but I'd love a nice convenience station there. Been living in Stone Park since 2003. The closest one is Hy Vee at 156th and Maple.

I haven't been out to that corner for many months now. Anything started where they cleared that house & trees?
I can get pushed out because I'm "too much" for some. Then, an observer of me comes suddenly swooping in to "fill my shoes." People are always more accepting of the new one, because their feathers aren't truly ruffled by them. (Yawn) I can count on it every time.
