That's great news. One more growler to keep in regular circulation.
Not sure how you can pick a favorite, we have way too many great breweries in this state...iamjacobm wrote:YES! Best brewery in the state IMO, this is awesome.

Re: Official: Saddle Creek 'Slowdown'/Bluestone /Film Streams
This will be nice with the hotel across the street and the others nearby. The question is if there really is enough residents and hotel traffic to sustain all these bars and restaurants outside of the great two weeks of the college world series. The new residential and hotels in the area should help the existing businesses but every new development also seems to add new competitors to the entertainment market as well.HuskerSteve wrote:http://www.omaha.com/go/dining/drinks/z ... 66c3d.html
Re: Official: Saddle Creek 'Slowdown'/Bluestone /Film Streams
I think Zipline is well enough known from their success in Lincoln that they'll draw people from a much larger area than the nearby hotels, residents, Creighton, etc. I predict people will even drive downtown from elsewhere in Omaha to go there. I will. Sure, they might take away customers from somewhere else, but it will be nice to have another choice to choose from.Joe_Sovereign wrote:This will be nice with the hotel across the street and the others nearby. Liquor license in front of city council. Plans show a small patio on 14th St.

This is now open
Re: Zipline Brewing to open tap room in north downtown Omaha
I can confirm it is open. I dropped by there for a pint on the patio while checking out the CWS Fan Fest. It looks like they had all their beers on tap. Unfortunately, I didn't think about snapping a pic but it does has a different feel than the other breweries in town. It fits the North Downtown area very well.

Good to hear and can't wait to get down there for a couple pours.. I'll likely wait until the CWS hubbub is over..yman97 wrote:I can confirm it is open. Yeah, parking is difficult if you just want to go to Zipline for a few beers.Omaha Cowboy wrote:I'll likely wait until the CWS hubbub is over..

No doubt. I'll likely be heading there for a couple pours the weekend or so after the CWS ends...Omaha_corn_burner wrote:Yeah, parking is difficult if you just want to go to Zipline for a few beers.Omaha Cowboy wrote:I'll likely wait until the CWS hubbub is over..
