I believe the Downstairs speak-easy will be called The Depot.

This area is doing better than I thought it would have.

If only someone would build a "speak easy" type bar here...

You may end up getting your wish.. The new owner of the 20's Strip Club says he wants to open up 4 more unique to Omaha type bar establishments around the city.. Apparently he is closing on a house and setting up residence in Omaha.. Stay tuned...

Ciao..LiO...Peace

My hint was too subtle!

I remember reading on here a long time ago that Blackstone Social was planning on opening up a "speakeasy" style bar in their basement. However, it looks like there hasn't been work on this in some time. Does anyone know if something is still in the works there?

It's been open for quite some time. I was there in the early spring. I'd like to go back before the weather turns. It's a great addition to Blackstone.

This was not the place I was referring to. I was referring to "The Red Lion," which has a pretty long (and interesting) history in Omaha, which should be set to open in the next few months.

I don't know if you guys already have a thread for it or not.
