Its an evolving list. I just haven't see the dates yet. Last year it looks like Lucky Bucket was the same weekend as Gerda's EDIT - Found the date for the Huber Haus.

The fireworks list never evolved, so I am fearful for this list. Maybe Brad will be better than the fireworks OP. :)

Nebraska Brewing has Doktoberfest.

Not sure if Pint 9 and Kros Strain will do one this year.

Normally I would never update these types of incomplete threads, but here are some updates.

Sep 8 - Lucky Bucket (there's a groupon for 2 people)
Sep 24 - Brickway (there's an event this month that is also related)

Then don't update them.

What makes them complete anyway? These threads are a place to go to find the events on these topics and evolve over time. ANYONE can add to them and should.... but do't feel obligated. You comment a few posts up about Brads fireworks thread makes it should like these threads are here to serve you. Do you part and add info if it is of interest to you.

I guess I am completely baffled by your attitude towards this and the Fireworks thread? This is a discussion forum, not the World Herald. None of us are staff members that get paid to write articles and publish information. This is a hobby and we post what we see or what we know or what we see. Everyone that I have ever met off this forum is a normal person with a real job and just contributes information when they have it.

I was at the pint a couple weeks ago and the bartender told me about the Oktoberfest they were having. I posted that and the couple others that I could find dates for. If I didn't see a date, I didn't post it. Its not like I intentionally left anyone out, but I also didn't call and ask anyone either. There is no need, when the dates come out we can add them to this thread like I did with your additions today. We are still a month away from the first October fest, and I am sure all the dates will be rolling out soon. If you see any more, please post them, we all appreciate more information.

As far as the Fireworks thread, people added a lot but nobody ever updated the first thread. Yes, Normally I try to do that. However that all went down around the same time my wife and I had our first baby. Like I said earlier, this is a hobby for everyone one here and when the baby was born, the forum went on the back burner.

I'm sure I speak for several people on here, we hope you keep posting what you know. You seem to have a lot of good info and we appreciate what you put in to the forum. A forum like this is nothing without user participation.

Well stated Brad. Being an original "OG" member of Omaha forum posting, "The Don" gives your post and the content contained a big thumbs up :thumb: ..

Now friends, as an LA native stated some 25 years ago- "Can't we all just get along?" :;): ...

I believe their Pumpkin Ale is called "Wick for Brains" or something to that effect..

I've had that beer.. It's a pretty solid pumpkin ale...
