They must be hiring for the one cashier that will work there?
Hey, sometimes the guy/girl putting stuff on the shelves will get pulled up front to help.

All joking aside, I do like quite a few items they sell. Currently the closest one to us is 192nd & Center, so this will be nice.

Plus Aldi is now listed.

Any idea who is running the regional sporting facilities to the west by the apartments?

May have been covered here before, but I can't recall it coming up... does anyone know what "Future Corporate Campus" refers to on the map for Gretna Landing?

They haven't updated the may since late July.

Any other news regarding other potential retail/food/etc for either the Gretna Landing side or the east side by the Aspen Creek Hy-Vee? The additional retail bays should be about ready by Hy-Vee, and I had heard possibly a Pizza Hut, maybe a doughnut shop. Unsure of the accuracy of this info at this point.

With the new Arby's being built and coming along nicely, what is anyone's guess about the Arby's at I80 and 370 staying open, the one near Walmart?

I occasionally go to Arby's, but not this one too often. It has been the dirtiest, most poorly run location for Arby's I have seen.

Nice to see the updated version - wonder if that's a signed deal (medical campus)? Also, I wonder if that will impact CHI's decision to construct a full size hospital on the south side of 370 where they apparently have land to do so.

I'm guessing the multi-family in the northwest corner is more apartments or some type of rented row home development?

Nothing regarding a Chick-fil-A... wonder if that's a no go now with McDonald's and Arby's being on that side?

this location by walmart is owned by drmarbys fanchisee. omaha metro is divided into territories and drm is mainly southeast. the other franchisee is arbyspandainc. the own the other half of the fanchises in omaha. i prefer the panda locations. i normally goto the location on center street next to the tire/brake shop which is not listed on drmarbys website.

fun fact, most panda arbys still have the ArbyQ sandwich on the "other" menu and you only need to ask for it despite it not being displayed on any drive-thru or walk-in menus anymore. the drm locations ive gone too say this doesnt exist.

The new Arby's at Gretna Landing is open. I believe they opened last Friday (12/13/2024).

Arby's
19609 Oakmont Dr
Gretna, NE 68028
(531) 359-2636
https://www.arbys.com/locations/us/ne/g ... ore-10123/

Now, if only we could get some brands that aren't already nearby.

I don't think there are; Drove by on the inside street this afternoon, and there were a few cars there but no indication that they are open. There is an OPENING SOON sign on each side mostly down because of the wind.

Sounds good. No cars there. Maybe if they picked up the opening soon signs it would help

Had it the other day - wasn't too impressed with their Arby-Q... didn't taste like I remember. Also ordered a cordon bleu, that was decent. Still miss the potato cakes... dumb they dumped those to keep curly fries and crinkle fries.

Wonder what's being built by the McDonald's - it looks like something between the Aldi and them. I believe the Starbucks is going by Arby's.

Last map I saw didn't have anything about a Chick-Fil-A, so I don't know if that was speculation, if they pulled out, etc.

I'm guessing the Fleet Farm won't start until next year assuming they're not backing out of that location.

I don't think they're hooked up for online ordering via their app yet. At least they weren't last time I went. That was creating some headaches as people were ordering in the app and assuming the app picked the closest Arby's when really the closest Arby's with online ordering is the one near I-80 & 370. So, they show up at 192nd & 370 for their food and get told they're at the wrong Arby's.

Yeah, that's not fun! If I remember right, I don't think this new location shows up in the app, so I'm sure you can't order from there yet.

I ordered breakfast pizza once through the Casey's app and thought I was picking up from one location, turned out I ordered it from another because it pulled my location while I was ordering in the app (even though I always order it from the same location).

Sounds like they need to switch to this sign:

I drove by on the interior road yesterday, and the opening soon signs were gone. Good move! Maybe they should have put up NOW OPEN ( except for on line ordering) signs in there place

According to the new renderings it looks like Fleet Farm is no longer going in here but they've added Texas Roadhouse, Olive Garden, Raisin Canes and a Panera Bread.

Well |expletive|... kinda. Was looking forward to a Fleet Farm being nearby, although I've never been to one and thought it could be a great location for that concept.

However, I will say I'm happy to see the extra food places... I know there's a lot of hate on here for Cane's. We actually like it (mostly for the sauce, LOL)... although there's been an obvious downsizing recently of the chicken used in their meals. So instead of raising prices, they've decreased food size.

Olive Garden is a little interesting; we already have the one on 170th & Center, which isn't incredibly far away. But, it's always packed. I'd rather go to Cane's over OG... I don't think it's that great.

Surprised to see Texas Roadhouse pop in there.

And, ANOTHER Panera? I don't get that place. Hate to say it, but must be stay at home mom's keeping these going... their latest commercial for a asiago bagel sandwich for $8? No drink, no side. IMO, that's NOT a deal at all. Panera is like a bigger Starbucks with more food options. But apparently Starbucks can open nearly across the street from one another so I guess they're doing something right.

If Fleet Farm is definitely out, I wish they'd get a Target over there.

It appears you can never have too many Texas Roadhouses. They are always busy.

I hope this doesn't mean we've lost Fleet Farm on W Maple as well.....

IMO the Gretna location is a better fit for a Fleet Farm location than the one on Maple. Time will tell.

This would be a near perfect spot for an IKEA, especially with so many "destination" restaurants nearby.

Yes. Something like an Olive Garden or a Texas Roadhouse type restaurant near an interstate is enough to pull drivers in from off the interstate that might not have stopped otherwise.

I thought the Maple St Fleet Farm was already under construction or at least further development than Gretna's (according to a previous post on here somewhere). Have they not started working on either one of them?

Without looking back here or elsewhere, I believe there was some speculation that that was the case, but it never was the case with anything I had seen that was backed up with facts/details. There was some statements that were attributed to FF late last year that said the Gretna location would start construction late in 2025 but that looks to be over now.

Odd - I'd be surprised if they back out, especially of both locations. I can't see tariffs being the driving factor, but maybe it is.

I also can't find the map online that was shared with the forum that added Olive Garden, Texas Roadhouse, Cane's, etc... The Access leasing website appears to still be showing a map dated from Jan '25.

I hope this doesn't mean we've lost Fleet Farm on W Maple as well.....
IMO the Gretna location is a better fit for a Fleet Farm location than the one on Maple. Time will tell.

The day it was posted I could not find the map either. Two days later I found it on Loopnet. Strange thing was that there were two links for the Gretna Landing Development that were live. One took you to the one we have all seen for a long time. The other took me to one with this new layout.

Have not gone back to see if they are both there or just one now.

Since they had bought the property I also find it is a bit odd. It is not the tariffs IMO that would drive them to pull away from this. That kind of decision is too long-term and not made in a short time frame since the tariffs have been front and center.

I did find it on LoopNet, thanks for the tip! According to the updated map, the "anchor site" of 17.34 acres (the Fleet Farm pad) is available. So I'd have to make the assumption Fleet Farm is out, at least of Gretna Landing. What a weird turn of events, especially with all of this well-known eateries being added recently.

I don't know the target market of Fleet Farm customers, but I would have to think Olive Garden and Texas Roadhouse wouldn't hurt their location.

Will be interesting to see what ends up going there. I still say a Target would be a good fit (especially over a WalMart). I don't think an IKEA could fit given the amount of parking and retail/warehouse space they'd require. The traffic in and out would be a nightmare, too. Could be anyone's for only $8 million. :D

The proposed ( former) Gretna location has the same feel and demo IMO of the very new location in Demoins right off of I 80 1200 SE Kettlestone Blvd Waukee, IA 50263

I have been in that store a few times. My take is that it is a cross between a Lowe's/ Home Depot and a TSC / Bomgarres.

That location would work for a Target. I also think a Lowe's or Home Depot would fit nicely with all the rooftops. The closest Lowe's is 180 & Center, and the Home Depot is likely the one at L Street Marketplace. I know Menards is building across the interstate in the area, but Many will drive past a Menards to get to one of the others.

South of the Walgreens will be...drum roll please...a car wash. IQ Car Wash for the people that don't want a membership.

I will take a Texas Roadhouse and or Canes over Fleet Farm any day. The population in this area has to be one of the fastest growing in the state and the food options have not kept up.

I agree, getting more food nearby is a plus. I imagine once the hospital goes in across 370 it will be appreciated as well!

It will be interesting to see who they can attract to that 18 acres. I do wonder why Fleet Farm is pulling out of one or both of those proposed sites, especially since they own the land.

I would think that since WalMart is down by 144th/I-80, they wouldn't put another store that close. I could see (and hope) for a Target. Someone mentioned IKEA, but I don't see them wanting to put a store here yet. I did Google IKEA's land requirements and apparently their store in Minnesota is on about 15 acres, but some take as much as 22 acres.

I guess HWY 370 would be a decent road to drop an IKEA, but I also feel they like to be near the interstate. Even with 192nd getting connected at some point, it will probably be at least 2 miles to the south of HWY 370.

But hey, we can always hope!

Re: Gretna Landing - Fleet Farm (NWC 192 & Highway 370)

I noticed the original listing on LoopNet for lots at Gretna Landing updated their PDF data sheet to reflect May '25. https://www.loopnet.com/Listing/Highway ... /22787256/

The other LoopNet listing that shows the originally planned Fleet Farm site for sale is still the only map showing Cane's, Panera, Olive Garden, Omaha Auto Care and Texas Roadhouse. https://www.loopnet.com/Listing/19317-O ... /35415244/

Any thoughts on why they aren't showing the same information if they're theoretically up to date? I would think if you're trying to lure new tenants that you'd want to brag about more occupancy, especially with well recognized brands. Also, the first listing still says Fleet Farm is going to be located there. I suppose FF could reverse course and opt to not sale, but I don't think this would happen.
