Has anyone found an updated tenant list for the Legacy Shopping Center at 168th and Center, beyond the one at the Cormac site?

Are the Shoppes @ Legacy nearly done? ... I thought there were to be 3 phases with the first one wrapping up shortly?? If that's case, I assume there's still quite a ways to go as far as more potential tenants coming in? Or is that just for residential now?

I've been hearing a J Crew was going in there for like a year now. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

I just had dinner at Ellada's last night. Great Greek food at good prices.
What they did with their space is great - and according to their owner they will have an outdoor patio soon.
I noticed many of the tenants are up and going there.

If you visit the Leo A Daly site you can still see the original master plan for what Legacy was supposed to become. Considering what it has become, its rather disappointing, but, whatever I guess. Phase two and three, I believe, are supposed to include office buildings in addition to more retail as well as some parking structures. No idea when that's supposed to start though

Is it just me, or is the strip mall they built to the west of Legacy Village tacky as heck? You know the one with the light minty green columns? Ick...I wish it would have an expansion of Legacy Village, which looks better in person than what I thought it would, than a completely different strip mall with such a crazy color scheme.

I remember when I was psyched about Tivoli when I first read about it. Now I look and it's situated next to a flippin Burger King... now that should add to it's appeal factor. It's like we're built up in reading and hearing about these places only later to be let down when the end results are revealed. Legacy has been pretty disappointing thus far when you stack it up next to the rendering. Considering what it could've been, it's been a little bit of a let down for me... I expected more out of it. I love the restaurants out there, especially the Dungeon, but a 5 yr old kid could've conjured up something more imaginative than what I've seen so far. What you get out of something is how much work you put into it, and I'm left with the feeling that we're still ok with the status quo.

Yeah, but 5 year olds have the distinct advantage of being 5 years old. That is, 5 year olds could dream up more imaginitive things than most of us. Ah to be 5 again.

The West Center strip is a total mishmash of construction styles, with what appears to be little or no foresight having gone into the siting of developments On the south side things look a bit better than on the north side, but overall it is just a mess on the eyes. And it only seems to be getting worse.

Where is the Omaha "Planning" Board? Are they all in the pockets of developers?

I think things look good on both sides until you get past the Baker's.

I really like the architecture for the shops that are on the north west side of 168th and Center. You don't see quasi-deconstructionist architecture like that very much in Omaha.
