Little infill project.

I've seen this going up and thought I'd share. Its at the corner of 91st and Blondo right behind the Walgreens on 90th and Blondo. There is a sign that AOI? are the builders, and refers to office space. Its not big but was just an empty unused parking lot before, so heres to infill.

This is great. The parking was for the Mariott reservation center to the south of Walgreens. They never used this portion that extended from the west side of their building north to Blondo and it had fallen into disrepair. That corner could use a little more action.

I noticed that they built that lot and then blocked it off with cement barriers and never used it. I wondered if there was some sort of zoning violation, or just bad planning.

There is a second infill project down the hill from this building. I believe it is 87 ths street and north of blondo 1 block. It might be by the same architect as this building. Its back behind harold's bar. It looks really nice and is some sort of children's daycare or something of that nature. I would take a picture if I had a digital camera.

Speaking of infill... perhaps some of you have noticed the medical office building expansion underway on the north side of 86th and Cass.
