Plaza Pontiac Buick 'nations largest indoor new car display'

Plaza Pontiac Buick has opened their indoor car lot inside the renovated former Sam's Club at 120th and L following a $7 million renovation, which apparently hasn't fully completed yet. They have 150 cars inside and another 400 outside. They will also offer after hours browsing (ie sales people gone... but security on site).

This is great; I personally will love to always have the option to go pick fun of GM’s at 4 in the morn. LOL
Do other big cities have places like this?

I saw the picture in the AM OWH and it looks really good. They went the extra mile to make this look cool and just not have an indoor car showroom.

I haven't seen anything like this in L.A., but then, I haven't been car shopping, either. At anyrate, there's certainly nothing as large as this here.

Indoor auto centers are common up north (Minnesota has several.) Some biggies are Snell in Mankato (converted Menards building...thinking it may even be bigger than Plaza) and Miller in St. Cloud...though not quite as big...

I'm guessing they're designed to make car shopping easier during colder months.
