Heritage - 1,062 home subdivision (Bennington)

I have to say I was in shock driving up 156th to Bennington the other day. I didn't even realize all the new subdivisions that were going in up that way north of Fort (Waterford, Meadow Ridge, Stone Creek, ...) ... and now this, which will apparently the bridge the last expanses of farmland between northwest Omaha and Bennington. I'm starting to wonder if these homes are being built by people coming to Omaha who miss their long commutes in much larger cities they perhaps are coming from?

Main points:
-Called 'Heritage'
-550 acres
-Will surround a 160 acre preserve (Allwine Prarie Preserve, administered by UNO)
-Different phases of the development to include housing spanning $175,000 up to $500,000
-Park near Big Papio including four ponds, baseball fields and trails.
-Allan Lozier one of the principals in the project... CEO of Lozier Corp.

Yeah, add another one of these b/t Omaha and Elkhorn along Maple and you'd end up with virtually no gap either. Anyone been on the north side of Bennington along Highway 36? Talk about mammoth houses.

Yeah, I took some photos for an Architecture firm, and one of their homes was out there.

I travel west on State Street from Blair High Road at least a couple of times a week. I saw this morning there was new dirt work on the south side of State where it meets Military thats wasnt there last weekend. Also there is a new subdivision that just got its streets finished on State at about 125-132nd street.
