Renovation is currently underway 1000 Dodge street (on the corner just east of Nosh)
Looks like it will be a party / event space. ONE-THOUSAND DODGE is the name of the event space.

Thanks. I was wondering about this, I saw a sign yesterday in my driving around but never got back to see what was happening here.ItsAllAboutMe wrote:Renovation is currently underway 1000 Dodge street (on the corner just east of Nosh)

It is the same group that is running the new event space in North Downtown by the Blatt too.Coyote wrote:Thanks. GREAT....not. 1000 Dodge has high end condos, and a very nice wine bar. What kind of looser clientel is an adult arcade going to bring in? Can't wait for the first shooting...

normally, i may say you were right. But in this case, i think the ownership has done a pretty good job creating an atmosphere that's very different from the retro arcade down the road. Fatt putter hasn't drawn in that crowd, i don't see this place doing that either.swgiust wrote: Mon May 13, 2024 12:41 pm GREAT....not. 1000 Dodge has high end condos, and a very nice wine bar. Agreed. I don’t recall many issues at Beercade, either?thenewguy wrote: Mon May 13, 2024 2:13 pmnormally, i may say you were right. This will be a very nice place. The owner has a great track record. It will be a huge positive for downtown Omaha and I can't wait to visit when it opens.

Huh? Are you aware Omaha has reduced its violent gun crime by almost 50%?swgiust wrote: Mon May 13, 2024 12:41 pm GREAT....not. 1000 Dodge has high end condos, and a very nice wine bar. What kind of looser clientel is an adult arcade going to bring in? Can't wait for the first shooting...
