Thanks, I lived there for two years so I got to see quite a bit of the city. One of these days I need to take some pictures of all the old houses. Actually it has been in operation since 1882. The original burned and in 1977 (after 84 years on the original gear drive, the gear drive was replaced with a modern one.) It is $1.50 to ride each way, but you can also park at the top and just use the overlook. I think they are just old rail lines, and rather than covering them up or tearing them up, they decided to keep them exposed. I wish downtown Omaha did more of this. There are sections of track exposed on Jones St, but the street in general is so rough with all the overlays.Brad wrote:Lots of cool shot Scott.
