Minneapolis condo boom

Hey fellow forumers - I haven't posted much lately but still lurk. I've been doing "extreme job hunting" for the past couple months and got sick of the internet for a bit... I'm moving to KC in a month for my first "real" job post-grad school, even though I tried to find something back home and here in Omaha as well (actually looked all over the Midwest...beggars can't be choosers). Anyways, I gotta give props to my homeland (Minneapolis) as there's about a couple dozen proposed/under construction high&mid-rise condos right now...

well in relation to the Omaha proposals, there's alot of flat roofs and those wierd square over hangings like on the top of the Wallstreet Omaha Tower.

Denver, San Diego and Minneapolis seem to be hogging the condo booms.

don't forget miami, however, I don't think miami's is small enough to consider a boom, I'd call it an explosion.

Yea, that first one is devastatingly beautiful. Skyscape sort of looks like the Townsend proposal. I like the curvy design of the Eclipse condo... it has that electric green color that I love (reminiscent of One Renaissance Place). Grant Park looks awesome.. there's something similar in Milwaukee, albeit on a smaller scale. Good stuff.

Anything that would make the skyline more interesting will always be good for Omaha.
