I stumbled across this prospectus on the papillion city website today, titled "Concepts for the Enhancement and Growth of Papillion’s Traditional Town Center"
http://www.papillion.org/planning_build ... -Final.pdf
I especially like the Piazza Papillion, Washington Street Bridge (84th), and Second Street ideas.
Someone should post the photos from the pdf, as they look quite good!

this would be MUCH needed, papillions main street is so ugly. Im sure the look of the buildings is the reason why so many crappy stores are there too.

Yeah, Papillion definitely needs some work. It's...pretty ugly. I'm glad they are taking the initiative though. This, a continuation of the landscaping they've done along Schram Road (I believe it's Schram), and Shadow Lake Towne Center could hopefully bring Papillion out of it's current state. Tearing down some of the ugly metal buildings along 84th street couldn't hurt either.

Great shots of Papillion Jeff, and what a great day for photos. This must have been done on a Saturday morning - hardly any traffic in sight. These renovations sure have made a difference to DT Papio!

I'd have to take a wild quess of 8:00AM based on the color of the sky and the shadows on the ground. How close am I?

I like the 'crispness' of these photos. 10 am on a September Sunday is great. You must have gone on a photo tour - or just found time to post your recent photos.

That's a very nice streetscape. Although apart from the Edwards Jones bldg and the D Rocks bldg, I don't see where a lot has been changed from how it was. Maybe my short-lived memory of Papillion is foggy?
