Look at this awesome, big picture I found of Kansas City with the new One Light building. That particular angle is one of my favorites of the city. From that angle, the skyline's eclectic mix of skyscrapers seem to stand together in an extra bold & striking way, making a strong & exciting statement, a collection of sharp needles & upward-thrusting towers & peaks pointing straight to the sky. I also like seeing the street's traffic dwarfed and looking almost toy-like compared to the tall One Kansas City Place.

One and Two light showing up on Google earth finally! Maybe Omaha will get some updates on Google Earth soon.

First new semi tall buildings in downtown KC in a while. Seems like most of the new developments in downtown KC is in and around the P&L district.

They are so clean, crisp, light and airy... That's the words I always "pull from the dictionary" regarding them. I do love boxy, white buildings with clear or grey glass. It's like: You can't go wrong with that winning combination. It always looks nice, and can probably fit most any town out there. (The Sunbelt cities look great with white buildings, adding to the brightness of the sunshine & warmth. The cities in the north look great with white buildings, because of the cold, frost & snow.)

Project to start construction next month. Upsized to 322 units - up to 30 condo. Construction bid websites show that the garage will be underground now. Total heigh around 30 floors.

There renderings are from the development plan and permit filings from Fall 2019.

Final drawings were submitted to City Hall today. Procurement for remaining trades is underway with the "big" ones having been procured last fall.

This project was paused because of COVID. JE Dunn rebid this fall and are supposed to break ground within 60 days.

Looks like it's proceeding. It will also be the tallest of the apartment towers (1,2, and now 3 Light) built by Cordish.
