And the trade war strikes again! Except this time it hits closer to home. It is unfortunate Green Plains is having to close plants even though the greater ethanol concentration requirements are increasing.

Our closest ethanol plant is owned by Green Plains. We need to get rid of some lower quality stuff in our bins, and are considering taking a basis hit to sell the corn through a co-op so we still get paid in the event that Green Plains goes bankrupt, or starts dragging their feet sending checks.
