If the definition of a "Healthy Retail Location" were to be defined by gross sales I would think any Walmart, Sams or Costco would have more gross sales then all the stores in Nebraska Crossings combined.

Thanks for the promotion again. You really must want to know more, but you will probably be deeply disappointed....... no vitamins - Omega+, a probiotic, and a Nrf2 Activator — but no vitamins so you will have to get your fix elsewhere.GrandpaaSmucker wrote: Wed Jun 19, 2019 7:10 amOf course you think taking vitamins that are not vitamins is healthyUffda wrote: Wed Jun 19, 2019 6:11 amOf course you also predicted this place would be dying in 5 years.GrandpaaSmucker wrote: Tue Jun 18, 2019 2:27 pm If the definition of a "Healthy Retail Location" were to be defined by gross sales I would think any Walmart, Sams or Costco would have more gross sales then all the stores in Nebraska Crossings combined.![]()

The move was my idea because my company was growing and we decided to move closer to our customers. As for wishing I was back in Omaha? Not so much except for friends there. I will always love Omaha but there is a lot to be said for living in a larger city. My wife? She liked Omaha and has said that if we'd stayed she would have been fine with that. But yeah, I haven't found anyone here like you Grandpa. To be sure there are lots of old curmudgeons but none quite like you.GrandpaaSmucker wrote: Thu Jun 20, 2019 9:47 am..............and now its 20 years later and your wife made you move to Detroit over a decade ago and you are still wishing you were here. Re: Nebraska Crossing Outlet Mall(Gretna)
On Grow Omaha, they interview Rod Yates. He said that locals should expect to see 10 new to market brands at the outlets this year. I can't remember if that includes what's already open or has opened, but in addition to Pendleton, Untuckit, and Vineyard Vines, Sperry and Merrell, both shoe stores, are building into spaces at the outlet. Additionally, for those who have not been there in while, the TJ Maxx/Home Goods store is going up on the north side near the water tower. It doesn't look like it will take too many parking spaces.

Re: Nebraska Crossing Outlet Mall(Gretna)
Here are a few nuggets about changes at Nebraska Crossing from the Lincoln Journal Star. Some new, some already known.
https://journalstar.com/business/local/ ... 8x0dyOQ2DU
Some Highlights
Former Forever 21 location becoming an Adidas "stadium" store. Tripling the size of their current store there.
TJ Max / Home Goods opening Aug 25
Vineyard Vines Opened this last weekend.
In October is an as-yet-unnamed "new-to-market" tenant that will fill space that is soon to be vacated by DressBarn, which is going out of business. The name of the tenant should be announced later this month.
The store to replace the current Adidas location will be new to market.
Sperry Top Sider and Merrell will open in October

Later this month, Tommy Hilfiger is opening at NEX. Tecovas is opening in 1st quarter 2020, per Grow Omaha. This gets me thinking, other specific higher end branded stores like Calvin Klein, Aldo, or Guess could probably to well at the outlet mall.

Maybe one of those brands are the tenants for the 6 and 7 expansions slated to open summer or fall of next year? Per Yates on Grow Omaha, two buildings in the 10-20,000 sq. ft. range are being built of the north-ish side of the outlets. Two new to market brands/retailers that they are working on leases for.Doctor Fate wrote: Tue Nov 05, 2019 3:40 pmJohanna Boston told me that they are trying to get Crate & Barrel, West Elm, CB2, or a like brand to come to NEX as well.ita wrote: Tue Nov 05, 2019 1:37 pmAh, good suggestion!Greg S wrote: Tue Nov 05, 2019 1:10 pmI would love to see Timberland out there.Doctor Fate wrote: Tue Nov 05, 2019 11:52 amNordstrom Rack too.ita wrote: Tue Nov 05, 2019 9:14 am Later this month, Tommy Hilfiger is opening at NEX. Looking back at releases about the other "out buildings" at the outlets, H&M is a good comparison for size. It's a two story building with a total of 24,000 sq. ft. So the two new buildings should have a similar sized footprint to that expansion.Doctor Fate wrote: Tue Nov 19, 2019 11:07 amWhat is a comparable sized store for the 10-20,000 sq. ft. range? With the reopening, will be interesting to see which stores actually open that are presently closed. So many of these are national stores that closed all of their locations.

Opening that Mall back up is a dumb and stupid idea. Having said that I can see how unfair it is to all businesses to be closed up while at the same time Walmart and HyVee have hundreds of people shopping at their stores all day long 7 days a week. It is clearly totally unfair and B.S.

I was in Home Depot this Tuesday, only about 20% of the customers had face mask on. And it wasn’t that crowded. The biggest problem with Nebraska Crossing opening is if the crowds get to big. They are going to have to limit customers somehow, that could be tricky. If the crowds are light I don’t have a problem with it.

While everyone was home, Nebraska Crossing is repainting the water tower, 2 restaurants are currently being remodeled, a new outdoor fireplace with stone seating and a Puma golf simulator.
I'm curious about those building permits, I can't find the plans, I know that they are building new stores because the permit says X, Y, Z.
Does anyone have a map? or a blueprint
