The move was my idea because my company was growing and we decided to move closer to our customers. As for wishing I was back in Omaha? Not so much except for friends there. I will always love Omaha but there is a lot to be said for living in a larger city. My wife? She liked Omaha and has said that if we'd stayed she would have been fine with that. But yeah, I haven't found anyone here like you Grandpa. To be sure there are lots of old curmudgeons but none quite like you.

On Grow Omaha, they interview Rod Yates. He said that locals should expect to see 10 new to market brands at the outlets this year. I can't remember if that includes what's already open or has opened, but in addition to Pendleton, Untuckit, and Vineyard Vines, Sperry and Merrell, both shoe stores, are building into spaces at the outlet. Additionally, for those who have not been there in while, the TJ Maxx/Home Goods store is going up on the north side near the water tower. It doesn't look like it will take too many parking spaces.

In October is an as-yet-unnamed "new-to-market" tenant that will fill space that is soon to be vacated by DressBarn, which is going out of business. The name of the tenant should be announced later this month.

The store to replace the current Adidas location will be new to market.

Looking back at releases about the other "out buildings" at the outlets, H&M is a good comparison for size. It's a two story building with a total of 24,000 sq. ft. So the two new buildings should have a similar sized footprint to that expansion.

With the reopening, will be interesting to see which stores actually open that are presently closed. So many of these are national stores that closed all of their locations.

Bob Iger returned to lead Disney. Read his book earlier this year. For Disney, they could not have rolled out Disney+ at a better time.

I was in Home Depot this Tuesday, only about 20% of the customers had face mask on. And it wasn’t that crowded. The biggest problem with Nebraska Crossing opening is if the crowds get to big. They are going to have to limit customers somehow, that could be tricky. If the crowds are light I don’t have a problem with it.
