Nice. I am interested in how the building looks in person once complete. I do appreciate they are not crazy rents; it's mid-market price for brand new apartments. We need more of that.

I'm not sure how the neighborhood is going to absorb all that on-street parking without a garage/dedicated lot

It's not a great looking building imo.

Midtown's Dewey Park area on track for an $8.5 million apartment building
“It aligns with our vision for adding density to the core of our city that was neglected for five or six decades,” GreenSlate’s Jay Lund said.
...
He said GreenSlate will be able to offer lower rates because it won’t be taking on the expense of a parking structure. Residents will have surface parking.

I drove by this site yesterday and it looks like the project is underway. The two old triplexes have been torn down.

Funny, I though the opposite. I like the look. It isn't the same 2 material block we see everywhere else popping up.

Not sure what this is or if there is already a thread. But it is going up quick.

I can't find the thread for these. I swear there was one though.

But it is looking pretty nice to get that little density right on the bike trail there.

or .... perhaps someone could create an index page where these new developments could be linked and referenced.
Oh wait .. we have that. Perhaps we need to rename it and remove great, well intended but outdated index first created by Brad. Then new users would be able to see it.

Done, but people still need to use better descriptions in their threads to make the search work better.

They are framing the roof today. It’s gonna have a little bit of a different roof than a lot of the projects do right now.

At least it will have a little personality.

Agreed, this makes more sense in the context of surrounding houses than the flat tops we see so much of.

I stopped to take a couple quick pics of these apartments. They look really good and appear much different than the other projects around town.

Those are really cool and a nice change of pace from other apartment styles in the metro. These have almost a Scandinavian look to them.

Really like the look of these compared to all the other boxy, square developments that go up on every other corner.

Grow Omaha update, these are ready for leasing:
Leasing is underway for the newly constructed Dewey Park apartments, according to GreenSlate Management. The 4-story building has 55 apartment units and is located on H.W.S. Cleveland Boulevard adjacent to Dewey Park in Midtown.
I thought I had read they were trying to keep rents under market rate, but these are almost as expensive as the Brickline units, which is the very top of the market.
