I imagine that the combination of the asbestos and the Coke/meth would be a problem. I was also noting that it has some unlevel floors and I imagine that the surface area could be more efficiently used as a clinic with modern construction.

During the gap between the original owners and the last group, it was open and low functioning as a source of food. It sold a lot of recreational substances. My brother worked in the kitchen and everyone knew that you didn’t use certain doors to leave and the finding of drug paraphernalia in the parking lot was common.

Ah, makes sense. Also makes a lot more sense why it ended up closing down.

I've hear the Olympia Cycle across the street a little ways isn't doing so great, either. That sits behind the broken/dumpy gas station that's become a parking lot for out of service senior citizen vans. Not sure what's going on with that little hole. Actually surprised that never was better take care of given the cop shop that was right around the corner. Also surprised that Roadhouse could push drugs with the heavy police presence. But, I suppose that's not what they're always keeping their eyes open for.

In any case, hopefully something positive can pop up around there.

I have been there a couple times, and to me it isn't surprising really. It isn't in a great location for a bike shop. Decent little shop though.

I have fond memories of dining at the Roadhouse. But they declined in quality about the time they finally remodeled the interior.
That sort of restaurant just isn’t popular any more.

Drove down 132nd this past weekend, MR is already gone! Didn't take them long to drop that meth house. I always wanted to see Millard have a little "Old Market-esque" type of area... like downtown Elkhorn or similar.

Haha yeah im being for real...Most of the old timers that are always playing pool at the duck inn all live downstairs, theirs no windows down there so you can imagine what it looks like. Also up the street in the corner of the L shaped building where the print shop was for years is stairs outside going down to idk so there must be an underground something in that building as well.

Great approach for a brothel. Head into a nice family restaurant, make a turn, open a door, down to the tunnel for your turn.

Apparently, several respectable businesses in DTO had basements where you could enter a tunnel and go from buying a suit, to getting your freak on without going outside.
