Mr. Carson asked whether the applicant could divulge which fast food restaurants may be located on the Loves site. Frank Ille, 10601 N. Pennsylvania Ave (Oklahoma City, OK), stepped forward to represent Loves Travel Stops and Country Stores and noted that possible restaurants may include McDonald’s, Subway, Arby’s, Godfather’s Pizza, or Chester’s Chicken. He stated that the likely tenants would be Arby’s and Godfather’s Pizza.

I love seeing it all being built up. There's something about industrial areas, especially in flatter cities, that is neat to me. I remember outside Columbus, Ohio, stretching long along the interstate, and same thing seen outside of Denver, Colorado, there are really big industrial parks of big, square & rectangular, stylish, warehouse-size, low-rise buildings, often white in color with mirrored glass, with landscaping around the perimeters, and big busy depots that all these constant trucks pull into. There's something neat about it all...
I can get pushed out because I'm "too much" for some. Then, an observer of me comes suddenly swooping in to "fill my shoes." People are always more accepting of the new one, because their feathers aren't truly ruffled by them. (Yawn) I can count on it every time.

H&H Chevrolet had their groundbreaking yesterday for a new dealership/carwash/additional building located in the Steel Ridge development. Menards will also be building a new location right at the corner of where 370 and I-80 come together (basically across the street from where H&H Chevrolet will be located).

More info and a few renderings can be found here:

Their whole page is borked, honestly. I wanted to find about the H&H twins but I got a link to lease a Chevy Colorado...

Strange - seems to be working now again (or at least it did just now when I checked it)...

Menards has been talking about building there for about 15 years; here's an article from 2008 after the land they purchased for the store was rezoned by Sarpy County.

Guessing the '08 recession put those plans on hold? Regardless it would be nice to it finally come to fruition.

Yeah, that would make sense as to why it was delayed. They had machinery on the Menards lot when I was there on Tuesday so I’d assume construction is imminent..

Menard's corporate jet "N549M" landed at Epley a little after 8am today. Wonder if they will announce construction on this new store? Nice sized jet too.

Not to be confused with my personal jet, "DCNiner123ABC"

The inspiration came from Sesame Street and Tommy Boy

Ground breaking for a new KIA store was today by where the new Chevy store just opened. The KIA store on 84th street will relocate to the new store in 2024…

So will Mega Saver be opening jumbo stores on both 84th and L St and 84th and F St? I could see them trying to capitalize on the market area nearby. I mean there's an Adam and Eve just to the North on 84th next door to the Denny's.🤣🤣🤣
