I currently have a BP card that gives you $.15 off per gallon but with all the stores transitioning into Casey’s does anyone know if Casey’s has a similar credit card or another local chain that does?

Not that I’m much interested in getting a Casey’s pizza over any of the other excellent local options for pizza..

Casey’s pizza is okay. I’ve never understood the hype over it though..Somewhat like Chick Fil A- I like the place and they have good food..but it’s never “knocked my socks off”.. If we went just by the HYPE, you’d believe Chick Fil A to be a “life changing” fast food experience .. I’ll save that level of prestige to Whataburger …

That I’m not certain of. I *think* this now converted Bucky’s on 132nd off West Center used to sell pizza by the slice..

Not 100% on that though.. Now that it’s a Casey’s, I’m pretty certain they will…

84th and Fredrick and 102 & Maple do have Pizza for sure.

From what I have seen they are remodeling the locations without a kitchen first.

78th and Dodge has not started any remodeling.

The St. Joseph former Bucky's Shell is now Bucky's unbranded. No evidence of Casey's anywhere. This is similar to I-80 @ NE-50 where nothing has changed--still BP.

The store at 35th & Broadway in CB is undergoing its Casey's Transition right now. Drove by a little while ago and it is closed and a lot of workers are changing signs other outside stuff. There is a Casey's semi at the front door and I am assuming they are likely stocking the Store branded items

I still hope that Kwik Trip/Kwik Star opens in the area. They make Casey's look ridiculous. Casey's is run better than Buckys but I am still not convinced that they are a great convenience store other than their pizza. There is definitely going to be an abundance of Casey's in the metro now.

Unfortunately not around here. I wish they would buy the one in Aurora, Nebraska. For some reason I always hit that pilot, but wish it was a Casey's.

I was on the road a couple of weeks ago for multiple days to Wisconson and back. I made a point to stop at Kwik Trip / Kwik Stars. One was really nice. The other three or four that I was at I will take even an old Casey's over them any day of the week.

I don't go much into Omaha proper, but Anderson's has one BP at I-80 / NE-50 (southwest quad). There's another BP at I-29 / US-34 (East Bellevue, or West Glenwood, take your pick...)

Yes, there is one at Hwy 370 and 72nd that I have gone to. The one on Hwy 34 just west of Glenwood is usually quite a bit more so it wouldn't pay to go to that one. I just wonder with so many Casey's will there be competition to keep gas prices low.

I concur - It appears multiple Kum n Go's out in West Omaha are undergoing renovations simultaneously. From personal experience I know the one at 187th & Q St and the one located on 154th & Pacific are both getting remodeled.

I've made the mistake of stopping in the morning a few times over the past few weeks and get in a line of 10+ ppl waiting to pay. I know Casey's tries to play themselves as a "General Store", but let's be real - they're a "convenience" store which should also translate into "fast".

Throw a few hundred bucks at your existing stores to fix your crappy, non-working registers so you can at least check out 2 ppl at the same time. Heck, the HyVee on 180th & Q sometimes has 4 ppl running registers.

And don't get me started on how long it takes to pickup a breakfast pizza on a weekend! LOL

Be nice about it, but maybe try using the corporate contact form and file a complaint about the registers. There's always a chance that it will just be emailed to the same people who have done nothing to fix the problem, but it could help get the problem resolved as well.

I used to run c-stores before all that newfangled technology. The only times I ran out of gas were due to logistics (delayed tanker). Similarly, on occasion I'd have a tanker stop by my store to dump ~500 or so gallons that another station couldn't take because someone at that store mis-dipped their tanks!

Just returned from OKC and was told that Casey's bought 49 Circle K stores in the OKC metro. They're also opening (or have opened) a distribution center in Joplin, MO

That's wild. Thanks for the info! I remember Casey's fighting off a hostile takeover/buyout by 7 Eleven about a decade ago, and it seems like since then they've been determined to expand so large that they're no longer a reasonable acquisition target. (Half-joking, as no company is ever too big to be bought out by someone, but it also can't be a coincidence that Casey's started buying up so many smaller competitors right after that.)

No worries, I think it was mentioned at one point about Casey's having too many stations, but that was it.

Its amazing this far in to the sale/merger, the Casey's locations that use to be Bucky's are still a complete |expletive| show. You can go to an original Casey's and everything is normal, go up the street to a former Bucky's and it looks like a bomb went off inside. Out of stocks items, closed kitchens, open kitchens with no food ready, staffing issues, cleanliness, its just a mess. It really feels like the former Bucky's stores has one area manager and the other Casey's has their own area manager.

So this past Saturday we were having a birthday party for my 5 year old. He wanted Casey's pizza for his Birthday. (Need to get him in to better pizza) My wife put the order in at noon for a 5pm delivery. Around 3:30 or so she started getting updates that "Your pizza order will be ready soon" and "Track your order on our app". Then at 4:40 she gets an update "Your Order has been Cancelled". She called the store and they said they didn't even have her order and there was no way she could have ordered because their kitchen was closed and their computer was turned off. The next morning I stopped in for a pop and of course, they were out... Just out of curiosity I looked over at the kitchen and there were a couple pizzas in the case, but the rest of the cases were all empty and the kitchen worker was out smoking.

Just my opinion and I know that they are separate businesses but I think Caseys is kind of like HyVee. Used to be well liked and highly recommended, but now they are getting too big and for some of the same and also different reasons, I dread going to either.

Funny story. My wife is a teacher and ordered pizza for her students at Caseys in CB. She ordered it online and went to pick it up yesterday morning and guess what, the kitchen was closed and said that they didn't even get the order. Then the worker there said that they are short-staffed and there is nothing they can do about it. So at this time, she is unable to get the pizza (at least she hasn't been charged, but still no option to get it at a later date even though they had 3 people working there and they were all standing around)
