LOL, I was going to let it slide as I often do, but it totally drives me nuts that people, maybe even the majority of people think "I could care less" is the proper use. Heck, I could probably say of all the times I've heard or seen it in text, it was " I could care less" 7/10 times. It's up there for me when people trying to sound smart and make a point use "irregardless". Like, you know what you said would mean the opposite of what you meant, right?

One could make an argument that if you get the gist of what they're saying then it's effective language.

Haha. I tried to explain it once to someone as a young adult in college and they looked at me weird, tried to explain that it was correct and that is what they meant, and we never really spoke again. Not that that acquaintance was going to go anywhere anyway... But since then, yes, I just smile and nod.
The Charles Schwab Corporation today announced the company is retaining exclusive naming rights to the home of the NCAA Division I Men’s College World Series through 2029, which it obtained from its October 2020 acquisition of TD Ameritrade. Effective in 2022, the 24,000-seat baseball stadium and entertainment complex in downtown Omaha will be renamed, Charles Schwab Field Omaha. The firm also revealed new branding signage for the venue.

"Field" looks very strange. Poor choice to use the same font as that of the company logo.

It sometimes amazes me the creative ways and means people come up with to be critical of any new development or change along the Omaha landscape. The TD Ameritrade logo wasn’t a groundbreaking logo design. The new Charles Schwab logo will be okay.

I mean, if the change was enough to publish articles about then I think it’s worth some critique if people wish.

So did Charles Schab Field change soda vendors? In driving by they have new COKE advertisements over at least some of the stairs leading into the park. I would swear they have been a Pepsi location but who knows, I may be out of the loop.

They have been Pepsi since they opened, which was always interesting because the NCAA was sponsored by COKE. While all the concessions stands had Pepsi, the press box and media work rooms always had coke during the CWS.
Going in the opposite direction, glad to hear that Creighton baseball will be moving out and again have their own field on campus. Schwab Field just isn't and hasn't been a good fit for them.

MIght have been the 100 degree heat, or bands playing in parking lots with literally NOBODY watching them. Red Sky was an epic fail.
Keeping a couple of bands inside the stadium might work out better, but August in Nebraska is going to be hot. And yes, I am going to Pink a week later...
while it's too bad that Creighton doesn't feel like the experience is quite what they wanted, I like going to games here because there really isn't a bad seat in the house. Not that there would be if they were on campus, but it's a nice park. There is also the 'cool' factor of playing where the CWS is held, which has to count for something.

Great stadium, just mismatched crowd size vs seating. Outside of the Nebraska games (which still might be played there, like when Rosenblatt was around), the military game and one with school kids, there's zero atmosphere at their games. It's crazy the difference when you compare the atmosphere at Creighton baseball games and UNO's.
