The West Dodge Pump Station (WDPS) is needed to continue to meet peak hour demands in Zone 3 which covers the rapidly developing area of northwest Omaha. Over the last several years the District has frequently needed to run all Zone 3 pumps in order to maintain minimum pressures during periods of high demand. This has included running reserve pumps at each Zone 3 pump station that are intended for reliability but not simultaneous operation. Zone 3 pumping capacity currently has very little available margin for peak demand growth and very little redundancy is available during peak summer hours. The W DPS is needed to continue to meet customer demand and to maintain a robust and reliable water service.

Yeah, they've had the road between Baker's and Westside closed and dug up. Looks like they are finally about ready to open that back up again.
Small gripe, but I've recently seen two other articles that considered "Northwest Omaha" to be anything with an address with an "N" in front, though they were only a couple blocks north of Dodge. Now this one, though technically Wycliffe drive is "North of Dodge", I really wouldn't consider it To be Northwest Omaha, especially since its south of West Dodge. To me to be considered Northwest Omaha, you have to be North of Blondo, if not West Maple.

I just call it West Omaha, but I agree with your bounds of Pacific and Blondo. There was another recent article that considered 117th & Davenport to be Southwest Omaha.
