1. Baby Bob. ( git-r-done)
2. Twin towers renovation. (doubting this happens)

I like this. Agree with 1 and 3, for sure, though Baby Bob has had quiet updates about construction starts, so I haven't been too disappointed. CB's Phase 4 Riverfront though looks to have largely stalled since they cleared some trees and delivered mulch for the trails.ItsAllAboutMe wrote: Thu Oct 06, 2022 3:52 pm 1. Baby Bob. ( git-r-done)

Park Plaza is not going forward as planned, but City Ventures is going to do something else, from what I've heard.
You named the ones I've been thinking about a lot. One other, not really construction, but the Omaha-Lincoln bus route. I thought it might get off the ground this year, but haven't seen or heard anything yet.

I think the announcement of the new Mutual Skyscraper was pretty much the nail in the coffin for the Twin Towers renovation. Word I’m hearing, is it’s off the table…

I contacted City+Ventures about this project a few weeks back. According to whoever I corresponded with, the third tower project is all but dead, but there may do something with the Parkfair Mall side of the property. Hopefully, it's not just more parking, but they are exploring residential possibilities, so we'll see if anything happens with that propety.Omaha Cowboy wrote: Thu Oct 06, 2022 5:56 pmI think the announcement of the new Mutual Skyscraper was pretty much the nail in the coffin for the Twin Towers renovation. Yeah, that pretty much supports the “word on the street” I’ve been hearing on that proposed project for awhile now..ita wrote: Fri Oct 07, 2022 10:43 amI contacted City+Ventures about this project a few weeks back. Crossroads has started. I mentioned in that thread that sewers were going in and at least one road has been paved.

My post was mostly in jest, but I'll consider it real when there's something above ground.Brad wrote: Mon Oct 10, 2022 2:42 pmCrossroads has started. I mentioned in that thread that sewers were going in and at least one road has been paved.

LOL. You're saying that to someone who has spent 17 years designing the stuff below ground...Dundeemaha wrote: Mon Oct 10, 2022 5:22 pm My post was mostly in jest, but I'll consider it real when there's something above ground.![]()

Not necessarily not started, but greater progress at Crossroads.

Sometimes people forget the stuff below ground must happen first!Brad wrote: Tue Oct 11, 2022 1:18 pmLOL.
