Agreed. I’m not a big cook, but I enjoyed going there.

I had heard of one in Denver a dozen years ago, and became a fan of them years ago…

The 801 grill space is up for sublet. Looks like they'll continue to operate until they find a replacement (or at least that's the assumption, as they're still open).

Sounds like May. Interviews for staff are being conducted now. A contractor should be starting work soon. There are signs in the windows now announcing their return, which is nice to see.

crews have been working to demo the 801 grill space. Wonder if this is in preparation for another (yet to be announced) tenant?

There is a newer HAVC Permit for "Clean Juice". I don't remember seeing that in OPP before?

Bring back Ruby Tuesday! I miss their salad bar and menu from when I worked there about 20 years ago(Lincoln location).

Only since Ruby Tuesday left. I seem to recall Ruby Tuesday was there for quite some time. It's been all the subsequent eateries that have failed quickly.

My great uncle was the farm manager for the racehorse farm that was there before. Maybe that is where they buried the failures? Now, like an "old Indian burial ground" it's cursed? They closed the salad bar and the spirits of the dead horses couldn't graze there and so they curse all the places after.

We have to be brave enough to ask the tough questions! ;)

An additional location for Ollie & Hobbes or are they moving and closing their Papillion location?

We visited 801 Grill one time, soon after they opened. It is walking distance from where we live. We love the sister restaurant downtown, and this was a much less expensive option with a less “fussy” menu.
We went with friends and generally enjoyed the atmosphere and food but there was an unpleasant misunderstanding about the dinner bill and the hostess refused to back up her waiter’s pledge to us about using a discount coupon mailed to nearby residents. I informed the hostess that we lived nearby and like to patronize neighborhood restaurants but that none of us would ever return. And we didn’t.
So I’m not sorry to see their closing.

The Ruby Tuesday that had been there was one of the most profitable stores in the chain. Ruby Tuesday didn't want to close it. The property owner at that time kicked out Ruby Tuesday when their lease expired because they wanted a higher quality tenant.

Ollie & Hobbs Craft Kitchen will open in the former 801 Grill space
Grow Omaha Market Report wrote:Ollie & Hobbs Craft Kitchen will open in the former 801 Grill space at 10387 Pacific Street in One Pacific Place. The bay is going through a complete renovation. Opening is planned for next spring. Ollie & Hobbs has existing locations in Papillion and Lincoln. The restaurant has the same ownership as Charred Burger + Bar in Sterling Ridge.

I have eaten at Ollie and Hobbs a few times and have not been impressed by the food. The service was excellent both times, but for the prices, I would go to so many other places first.

I think Ollie & Hobbes suffers a bit of a geography problem in Papillion. Take that exact same concept at that exact same price point and put it midtown and people wouldn't think twice about it. However, put it in Papillion and suddenly everyone thinks it's a ripoff or they think if they're spending that much on dinner, then would rather be someplace a little more urban and trendy. It's a little unfair.

Wonder how many millions $$$ have been spent on reconfiguring and "completely renovating" this space?

In terms of atmosphere 801 Grill was quite attractive.
For my money, if it ain’t broke don’t spend money trying to fix it.

Sephora will be taking over what I think used to be Eddie Bauer at One Pacific Place.
