Building Heights
I noticed in the Emporis website that the Masonic Manor has suddenly shrunk. It's now listed as 21 floors and 256 feet high. Skyscraper Page still has it listed as 22 floors and 320 feet.

It’s definitely 320, right?

Re: Building Heights
It's definitely 320' and 22 stories. At the time it was completed in 1963, it was the tallest building in Omaha until the Woodmen Tower was built.

Re: Building Heights
Does anyone know how tall the 400k sq ft office tower at the Civic site would have been?
Or how tall the 250k sq ft office buildings on the ConAgra campus will be?

Re: Building Heights
I know many here reference emporis from time to time. I just tried checking it today and it's gone. It just goes to a Costar website. Too bad because it was a good reference.

Re: Building Heights
"Dear Emporis Community Member,
I am writing to let you know that we have made the decision to retire the Emporis community platform. This change will take effect on Tuesday 13th September 2022. Following the retirement you will no longer be able to access Emporis.
This decision was not made lightly. For more than twenty years, Emporis (and its predecessor site) has served as a platform for community members to share data, information and of course, great imagery of some of the tallest buildings and skyscrapers across the globe. I would like to thank you for your contributions over the years.
CoStar Group acquired Emporis in November 2020, recognising the truly global nature of the data in Emporis, and since the acquisition we have integrated much of that data into the global CoStar information platform for the benefit of our client base of brokers, owners, and lenders…”..
I think I’ve mentioned this on the forum before, but many moons ago- 20 or so years ago, I was a regional editor on the Emporis site..Primarily during the construction then completion of the FNB Tower. I also wrote the community profiles for many of the Midwest cities, including Omaha and Des Moines Iowa..
It wasn’t a job really, but more a hobby..and I enjoyed the 2 or so years I contributed to the site and forum. Sad to see it gone…
Ciao..LiO…Peace
Go Cowboys!

Re: Building Heights
Damn, so Costar bought something that was available for free to the public and put up a paywall...
