Re: Conagra Campus Residential
Seems suspect. I assume npdodger is someone in real estate, so I won't be totally skeptical...but with all that momentum downtown, I'd think they'd want to add their project to the buzz. I'll cautiously cross my fingers, but expect nothing.

I have a potentially negative update. Heard Medical Solutions is in talks with a development company about a new office, 1/3 to 1/2 the size of the 400,000 sf referenced in here.
And it’s in west Omaha. (Sorry don’t shoot the messenger!)

Re: Conagra Campus Residential
Interesting. I’ll be talking with my cryptic rumor source who indicated to me several weeks ago that Medical Solutions was moving their operations to The Mercantile. This is a rock solid source. But we know things can change.. I’ll see if I can garner any additional intel, as I haven’t heard of any new west Omaha move..OmahaJaysCU wrote: Mon Feb 13, 2023 8:06 pm I have a potentially negative update. Re: Conagra Campus Residential
Rumors so far....... please add anything I missed
Entertainment/Dining/Shopping:
Puttshack
CityTarget
PBR Cowboy Bar
Sugar Factory (or whatever SFAB hints toward)
Capital Grille
J Alexanders
Offices:
Medical Solutions
Large Online Retailer (Maybe Amazon?)
One Medical
Edit: Unnamed insurance company
Residential:
Elevated Hotel with event space (W Hotel)
All the above is included in 4 buildings, not including Brickline. Haven't specified if it includes the T3 building or not. Anything I missed? Hoping for a Whole Foods, high rise condos, and some cool common areas along with this announcement whenever it comes.

Another tenant I've never heard of, but is some sort of exclusive national chain? When will it end?

True. I really think Mercantile master plan should be reconsidered because of the streetcar. I fully expect Hines to be doing something differently, but yeah, not going to be celebrating these rumors until we hear it from the horse's mouth.

Re: Conagra Campus Residential
Still a billion? Still condos? Still a premium hotel? Still delayed 180-360 days? Anything?

I thought the major news was to come last year. It continues to ride the "in a few weeks" state of things now.Doctor Fate wrote: Tue Feb 21, 2023 9:11 amAre we still on track for an announcement in the next couple weeks?
I think it's all a bunch of malarky with a huge side of hub bub.

Our investment firm has acquired information about this development. There’s actually two developers working together on it. One is from Atlanta and the other from Nashville. Pretty much all details given on here are spot on. As we see it, it’s really going to have a positive impact on downtown.

Is Hines giving the reins to these companies? They seemed to have the entire thing master planned. Is this a separate thing?Gromaha24 wrote: Tue Feb 21, 2023 4:50 pm Our investment firm has acquired information about this development. There’s actually two developers working together on it. They come from someone in the real estate business (I've been able to trace their identity beyond what I'll reveal here), but I've suspected trolling for some time. There could be some truth to the rumors, but acting like multiple posters makes me think otherwise.

So knowing what you know, could it be remotely conceivable that he's trying to spread these rumors under multiple user names so as to not be as traceable?

Re: Conagra Campus Residential
Yes, you guys have figured it all out. I have posted under different names, and yes, I am in the real estate business. I posted under different names because I didn’t want it traced back to me alone for revealing details about developments that shouldn’t be public knowledge yet. By revealing information early, I could get in pretty big trouble, so I passed on information I learned using a couple other names. A 25 story apartment building proposal will be announced soon, as well as the Conagra development. Also, my investment firm is the company looking at adding 900 apartments to the downtown area. This would be in the form of three separate projects along the streetcar line. From this point on, I will not be passing on any more information.

Hey wait! Before you go, did you pass along my suggestion about the W?
I also have an idea for a signature drink for the poolside bar. I call it a Rueben Bloody Mary. I don't want to say too much here on the details so that no one steals the idea so I'll PM and you can pass them along to W.

Well, for me it was the billion $ price tag. I suppose it would have been more glaring if it said zillion but still.
Publicly dIsclosing privileged information can be construed as an ethical problem if one is hired by the one doing the development. Could go either way but it's always a good idea to stay far from the line. On the other hand, simply hearing about a project without being directly or even indirectly involved, while still an ethical question, probably isn't as bad.
Any news on European Village?
