Old Omaha Master Plans

I was thinking about 72nd and Dodge and the new library and it got me thinking about this rendering from a 2008? Omaha Master Plan that showed the area transformed into a walkable urban district. It had 8 identical skyscrapers lining the intersection. Whatever it was, I can’t find it, but it also got me thinking of other master plans from over the years, if anyone happens to still have access to them. The 2010 Downtown Master Plan is still online and it’s a fascinating read.

I've seen it too, but couldn't find it. I did find this one prepare by Omaha by Design. See page 38 for how they reimagined 72nd and Dodge. Pretty neat.

What was the plan that expected 2 million people in the city by 2028? Was there a plan with that or was that part of the 2010 downtown master plan process?
