Wouldn't count on any of the races happening on schedule. Looks like nearly 100% chance of rain through Monday morning. Looking like a Monday 500 to me.

Based on that, and they moved the xfinity race to Monday at 11am (assuming ET). So either they desperately try and fit a late night 500 in tomorrow, or have it at maybe 3 or 4 on Monday. I think it'll get moved to Monday after the xfinity race.

Gah... I'm not unhappy with the result, but it had to be the least exciting 500 I can remember.

PLUS I have even more fuel to hate on Brad Keselowski. Dude took half my guys out of the race and we were what, only 5 laps in. He keeps on ruining the 500. I find it fitting he was the start of that final wreck that took out nearly all the remaining guys I had money on. And hes got this bad boy persona he tries to pull off, but hes the most McLovin looking mf on the track, though hes put on a lot of weight in recent years. If there's any one guy in any sport I can say I hate, it's Brad Keselowski.

LOL. I just happened to catch the end of the Xfinity race cause I never turned the TV off. I know nothing of the driver or team, but Austin Hill, the winner, was jubilantly greeted by his crew chief with a big ol "Come on out here you big som b!tch!"

And that folks is why I love this sport.

I think Truex had every right to be pizzed. He had that race won, but Bubba had to go and cause a caution AGAIN.

Like Clint was saying, Hamlin did get rolling a little early, but it wasn't egregious. Hamlin won the race on pit road. If anybody caused Truex to not win, it was Bubba.

I knew I remembered the last time Chase Elliott won, I was there. Hard to believe it'd been that long, October 2nd, 2022, Talladega. Dude doesn't do burn outs, apparently because he likes to save his equipment for his next win 45 races from now

But really, I'm neither here nor there on Chase Elliott. I did find the sequence of the last couple races to be hilarious for Denny Hamlin, though. After he won at Richmond on that jumped start, he probably should have won last week at Martinsville before they blew it on that late pit stop, and he really had a great shot to win today, too, only to be spun out by an air bubble.

I really think Chase Elliott knew what he was doing by taking the wind away, but Denny Hamlin really should be privy to that move. It's pretty cool you can get away with highway robbery due to no contact. No harm no foul. I found it very entertaining.
