I’m likely going to head back DT tomorrow to check it out. Lately, I’ve been going DT every weekend to check the progress. Looks like it’s rising again after several weeks at the same height level…

From that angle it appears that they still could add another 5-6 floors before they have to attach the crane and move it up.
Crane extension has to happen soon. A few months ago I was conservatively predicting the last two weeks of June. That was a very conservative estimate based on quickly the core was rising. I may accidentally be right.
Although it seems as if it's slowed to about one one floor every couple weeks. Do you think some of the non-movement on the street car would be related to taking their time on MOO? At this same time this is probably a ridiculous question from someone that doesn't understand construction schedules and other outside facts. i.e. streetcar.

I don't they have anything to do with each other.
I'm guessing it has slowed because of concrete. They can probably only get X Yards of concrete a day and they can probably place X yards of concrete per day. As skinzfan23 mentioned earlier, the garage has really grown lately so I would guess they are putting more of their concrete resources in the garage and not the core.
Thanks for that view! With the garage progressing quicker now, I wonder if the main focus is now get the garage topped out before extending the tower crane upward.

If they fill that old grassy patch near Union Pacific's headquarters, that'd be awesome with something that's pretty high and can stand out in the skyline similar to Mutual. There's a lot of pocket neighborhoods across Omaha that just have a spark in density and it'd be awesome increasing it around the city and especially near downtown. It's just so cool to look at.

Still can't believe there isn't a public construction cam for this project.
There was supposed to be. I’ll be seeing my MofO friend at a July 4th gathering next week. I’ll see if he has any insight on this…
Ciao..LiO…Peace
From my experience with working for a company that has had several construction projects around town recently, many construction companies are against "live streams" of the construction site. Apparently OSHA is notorious for watching the live streams and picking apart every little thing being worked on and digging for violations. That isn't to say the construction companies are necessarily doing something wrong but they just don't feel like its worth having "big brother" watching them constantly either.

Well, in many ways, the Big ole hole never left. It's always offered the same high-quality images at competitive prices.
