Maple Valley (SEC 168th & Bedford)

Seeing a lot of grading at the 2 lots on the east side of 168th just north of Bedford -- top of hill West of Maple Ridge Retirement village. Previously was 2 condemned homes City of Omaha forced to be demolished.

According to my Dad, a resident at Maple Ridge, the rumor is one of the lots is going to be a Popeye's. Looks like each lot has a different developer.

Any ideas/confirmation of what's going in here?

Yes, its a Popeyes. We had the contractor on Grow Omaha a few weeks ago and talked about it on that show. No firm plans on the rest of the land at the time of that show.

They really need to get that Bedford Ave bridge built between 165 and 167.

As far as Cutchall Management, it seems like they have downsized significantly since Greg's passing.

Can’t be any worse than the ones in Sioux City. One of their locations helps one car at a time. Once they get their food they take the next order. The other location never has legs available and has to cook them. I waited 30 minutes for them to bring me my food and had to go to the drive up window again only to see on their board that my order wasn’t even on there, and they weren’t even busy.

Don't know much about this one. A new building is going up a couple lots south of Popeyes that says "GOSPEL MEETING ROOMS INC".
