Wow! Tonight Jake Guentzel scored the first-ever playoff Hat-Trick by a rookie in Penguins history! The third goal was the game winner too!

Video is crazy, look how hard Crosby worked to get him the puck:

As a Penguins fan, I love seeing him in the black and gold. Great knowing that I got to watch him play college hockey and that he was actually born in this city. One day, maybe UNO hockey will be retiring his number, you never know, but based on the trajectory he's on, anything is possible.

Too bad he had the injury last year. He was on pace for a monster season. But, the future still looks great.

Yeah he definitely deserves to have his number retired by UNO.

Jake Guentzel became the fourth Penguins mplayer in the past 20 years to record six straight seasons with at least 40 points, joining Sidney Crosby (11x & 6x), Evgeni Malkin (7x) and Chris Kunitz (6x).

Just saw this in Tampa news

Lightning make a splash, acquire rights to Carolina’s Jake Guentzel
The forward is considered one of the top pending unrestricted free agents. Tampa Bay cleared a ton of cap space Saturday by trading Mikhail Sergachev.

Lightning sign Jake Guentzel, take top pending free agent off the market

They (Tampa) already took one of the top pending free agents off the market, trading for wing Jake Guentzel’s rights Sunday morning and completing a seven-year deal with him Monday worth an average annual value of $9 million.

Jake Guentzel fitting in quickly on Lightning’s top line
The newly acquired wing’s ice awareness and hockey IQ are evident just two games into his Tampa Bay career.

Former Omaha Maverick Anthony Stolarz was in goal for the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

I don't really remember him from UNO but the TV Announcers mentioned it.

Here is what Wikipedia says:
Although Stolarz enjoyed most aspects of his time with the Omaha Mavericks, he was frustrated about splitting his time in goal with starting goaltender John Faulkner and backup Dayn Belfour, the son of former NHL player Ed Belfour.[12] After playing only eight games for Omaha, Stolarz dropped out, accepting an offer from the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).

Josh Archibald and Jake Guentzel both got their name on it in the same season. In the post game celebration, Jake raised the Cup, then he handed it to Josh.
