Based on previous est, the building would be around 360 ft.
My guess, they can probably go up another 2-3 floors before needing to raise the tower crane again.

Prob pass Woodmen in about 6-7 more stories, or about 3 months.

Might pass it in height by then but not on the skyline, woodmen sits way higher with it’s topography.

Depends where you’re looking from. From the riverfront parks it almost appears to be taller already as you can see in Brad’s photos on the previous page.

You could say that about almost any building looking at it from the right angle. It won’t actually be taller for quite a while. I’d guess sometime in the spring.

Brad, I know you looked up the difference between First National and the new Mutual site. Any idea what it is between here and Woodmen?

Mutual = 1038' - (+0')
FNBO = 1045' - (+7')
Woodman = 1089' - (+51')

Mutual = 1038' - (+0')
FNBO = 1045' - (+7')
Woodman = 1089' - (+51')
So with that in mind, it’s about 170 ft from overtaking the Woodmen including the difference in elevation. So probably 9-10 floors or probably about 5 more months.

A large structural steel box was assembled on the ground (northside of crane) curious to see where this will end up.

Yeah, I meant to say delayed to the holidays. I'd assume workers would be given Christmas off, thus delaying construction a few days.BRoss wrote: Tue Dec 24, 2024 5:30 pmI'm guessing they mean due to the holidays. Makes sense. A few years ago, most new skyscrapers were office buildings. These days, every city with a major high-rise boom (ex. Nashville) seems to get a large amount of residentials. I guess it's just the world changing over time.skinzfan23 wrote: Thu Dec 26, 2024 2:55 pm 5-10 years ago, that probably wouldn't be the case, but now in the Hybrid work environment, I don't think we will quite as many high-rises built.

New York is still getting a lot of office buildings. The top tier office market is still strong, it’s really just the class B and C markets that are strugglingCDixon wrote: Thu Dec 26, 2024 2:58 pmMakes sense.
