Plans show the development of Lots 8-11 of the Cherry Creek subdivision
with multifamily-style residential uses. The PUD site is split into three
general areas:
• Area “A”: Lot 11. 80 total units in 11 townhome-style buildings, each unit
includes a two-stall garage.
• Area “B”: Lots 8-9, Outlots B-C. 300 total units in 5 structures, along
with a clubhouse and 513 surface parking stalls
• Area “C”: Lot 10, Outlots D-F. 110 units in 3 structures, along with a
clubhouse and 191 surface parking stalls.
The development includes an overall total of 490 units and 863 parking
stalls in private garages and surface parking lots. The development is
phased, with Area B to be constructed first, and Areas A and C occurring in
a future phase of development.

I recall something being planned here maybe 5-7 years ago. Is this the same project?

This will cause a lot of traffic going into Blair Highway. Especially with the new Celibrity development just west of there.

People have looked at it, but its a tough piece of ground (Lots of grade change, jurisdictional waters, and wetlands).

They are making some changes to Blair High that should help. The are moving the full access intersection back to Potter Street and will restrict the intersection at 101st/103rd. Basically if you are on Ida/103rd and want to go left/north on Blair High, you will need to go through the new development to the full access intersection at Potter. The current intersection will be right turn only at Blair High. It should allow the light on Blair High to stay green longer.

I don't see moving full access to Potter as being an improvement. I live in that subdivision, and getting out is congested as it is during rush hour. Hopefully the plan includes a light at Potter and Blair Hwy.

One building is about a week ahead of the other. Both look the same at ground level.

As for the light at Potter & Blair Hwy, the traffic lights have been installed for 4 weeks now, but are covered up still.
