382 feet at level 29 as well! As for the timeline, I imagine we'll start seeing glasswork begin on the lower levels relatively soon.

That video was ok but I thought it was weird when the developer stated that the tower is currently 29 floors, which clearly it isn't.

As for topping out, that has been the expectation all along. If they are going to be in the building in 2026, they will need to have it mostly enclosed by the end of this year. Going to look drastically different for the CWS this year compared to 2024.

On 1/13, the tower was on floor 28. In the video, you can see the bottom 16 levels for the garage, as well as the first 11 floors of the tower (the 11th is partially covered by the core framing), and based on the framing up top, looks like there is enough vertical space for another floor completed and hidden, with the 29th being poured or actively curing above that. That's just an observation that I am seeing.

Hard to tell but looking at the city cam it appears they are raising the crane right now.

Not sure how much height they added but it was 450’ assuming they added about 80’ with the 4 sections it would be about 530’ tall for the crane now:

I also think that the core will probably be rising sometime this week since its been a little over 2 weeks since the last time it went up.

I hit the Wabash last night. Driving home I noticed the crane is certainly higher than the Woodmen.

It is, crane is probably around 530', the Woodmen is only 478'.

Is the next floor 30? Kind of a milestone, and would make it that 2/3 of the floors are accounted for.

According to that most recent story, but it appears more likely that we are currently at 28 so the next would be 29. (unless there are 2 floors under the yellow section)

You can see the exterior facade going on the fist level of the garage columns in the video you posted. Also, I believe the crane's final permitted height will be 730'.

Thanks for the info on the crane...there was a OWH (not that I trust their reporting) stating that the crane would be 750' at its tallest, but I would trust your info more.

I think this southern shot is my favorite angle of the skyline. A great blend of buildings from throughout Omaha’s history.

Having lived in Omaha most of my life I was always a downtowner, where I lived, worked and played. Now that I moved away from Omaha, it’s taking off by leaps and bounds. I’m very excited to see all the growth. Very impressive! Makes me want to move back home.

I live in Midtown and I love seeing all the growth all around in the core, I love seeing our promising future taking shape in the core. It is gratifying to see multiple big scale projects completed mostly entirely with or exceeding funds from generous private donors; who demonstrate how much they care about our Omaha. Visiting other similar sized cities, I don't see a fraction of the large amount of construction taking place in Omaha.

I like being at the epicenter of the core taking place and I would not want to lose our downtown core amenities by moving elsewhere in Omaha. I am a frequenter to the Riverfront and the Old Market; I was at the Riverfront 2 days ago and even in colder weather. The parks are teaming with people; plenty of kids playing soccer, kids using the playground and of course foot traffic flows into the Old Market.

The MoO tower's skeleton continues to rise and look more and more dominant, week by week.
From my favorite drive to downtown from i480 west, while crossing the Missouri River and seeing the welcome to Nebraska "The Good Life" sign. Shortly followed by the Omaha skyline coming into view, its so nice to see the MoO tower and it's crane showing its presence.

From the KMTV article about a week ago

In about a month and a half, steel construction will begin to grow from the concrete podium, which will give us a better idea of the actual width of tallest part of the tower. By the end of 2025, the steel should reach its highest height.

Been a little longer this time, it was last raised on 1/13, but prob has to do with the crane going up as well.

I'm not sure what, IF ANY, reconfiguration of the core slip form is needed once they reach the floor where the tower steps back on the west side of the building. Obviously not all the elevators will run to the top of the building. The 30th floor may be where the tower floor plate changes.

I was thinking the 30th floor was also an amenity level, like 15?
