New apartments south of Sam's Club

The city council has approved 280 apartments south of Sam's and a new road from Sam's to the Vetran's Memorial Highway.

Looks like work might be starting on this project? All the trees have been cut down and there building a fence around the property. Does anyone know where the extension of Power drive is supposed to go? It seems like it will be blocked by the railroad or the wetlands/streams so curious if they plan on building a bridge or what the plan would be.

It will start at the east side of the strip mall where the entry is now and go south connecting at East Manawa. It doesn't impact either the tracks or the wetland area. There will be traffic lights at the south entry to Sams club/Power Dr,
