The applicant is proposing a ten-lot project of mixed-use development in
two phases. Lots 1-8 comprise a mix of retail, parking and light industrial
flex space. Lots 9 and 10 include multiple-family residential development
and associated amenities. Lots 1-9 and Outlots A-E are proposed with
MU-Mixed Use zoning as part of the first phase of development and
include a total of 144 multi-family units. Lot 10 and Outlots G-F are
proposed with R6 zoning as part of the second phase and include 216
units of multi-family development.

Lots of activity here now as they've started moving dirt around. Drove through the neighborhood immediately to the east yesterday, and TBH, looks like a bit of a mess for the folks in that neighborhood. Big equipment coming up almost immediately to their backyards, probably lots of dust blowing on windy days.

The project itself has lots of trails incorporated into it but looks like it's mostly "flex industrial" type space that would be the type of space that a typical Omaha brewery would use? Seems a bit bizarre of a combination. Should be an interesting development, but I'm having a hard time visualizing how it'll all come together.

Was the development to the east of there ever called something? Where that roundabout is just north of S HWS Cleveland Blvd & W Center Rd (but south of the Shadow View housing development)? It looks like there were probably grand plans for it at one point and then it sort of choked.
