Thank goodness. That place was such an eyesore. Let's hope that something NICE goes in its place within a decent period of time.

The remainder of the building has been removed except for the east and northern walls.

Looks like they’re doing some work to shore up the retaining wall along the back of this property. There’s some what appears to be new cement blocks and then some plywood probably for pouring concrete?

Seriously, what is wrong with this city? Cool new library ruined by this location and the street planning. So we what, double down and build a crappy car wash?
Ugh. We might need to move the urban cutoff for Omaha a few blocks further east.

It might actually be 69th or so. An interesting pattern ive noted is that all the major roads reduce lanes somewhere around the 67th-70th mark. I agree, something much better probably could be done, but I like to give it a chance that of the suitors, this is the best.
