Right, Tuna. Though with a stated goal of making the line between campus and the city invisible, it'll be tough to tell where one stops and the other starts. Here's an article with more detail on the integration with the Builders District:

This is mind-blowing to me. When I graduated 25 years ago, McGloin was under construction and was (more or less) the furthest east that campus stretched, at least for most undergrads. Now there's going to be (basically) uninterrupted new development from there all the way to the river. It's an entirely different place.

A lot of changes since you graduated in 2000? Try imagining the changes since I graduated in 1982! I attended a law school alumni reunion of sorts 2 years ago, and we were given a guided tour of the overall campus, from the old Alumni Library (barely recognizable from my work-study days) all the way to the east edge of campus. I had been into the law school building quite a few times since I graduated but even that building had changed big time since my law school days. The CU campus was expanding to the west of the freeway back in the 1970s. Now everything has reversed and it’s the east side of 24th Street that has exploded with growth and change. I’m very happy for today’s students, as they are benefiting from all of these changes. How we managed to get by with no Starbucks back in the day is jaw dropping. But we did have the Knothole student union.

Agreed. Creighton should have just built a field more akin to what UNO has and played there. It's a complete waste to just have a practice facility, CSFO is just too big for their baseball team. Lease it for marquee matchups and play all of your other home games on campus.
