Happy Thanksgiving!

Speaking of Thanksgiving... HyVee really stepped their game up this year with live Turkey's!

1. Seen the other day at 90th and Center.

Haha, love it! Evidently it is hard to beat HyVee for freshness.

HA. They get bold lately. I've seen some near the other Hy-Vee at Cass, and on the trail, and they seem to favor the creeks. I wanted to tell buddy, hey you know your girlfriend is sitting in the freezer right over there. Maybe he did know. Gobble gobble. He's probably just as frozen as her by now.

Speaking of HyVee, I drove by the one at 156 & Maple on Thanksgiving and they had parked their catering trucks adjacent to all the entrances, including the gas station convenience mart, to block everything off. Who knew the burbs were full of grocery ruffians lurking in the holiday shadows!

The one by my house does that too. I didn’t go by this year, but I have seen it in the past. Wonder if it’s a company wide policy?

I haven't been sick with a cold but once or twice in the last 7 or so years, this is something else. Flu or Covid, whatever it be, I've been glued to my bed for two days. I never take medication either, but I caved this time. This different.

Won't be going to any holiday functions, that's for sure. Hope everybody has a safe holidays, they've said its really going around, and I have the absolute displeasure of having caught it (with reasonable confidence). I'm on day two and I don't see any way I'll feel good even by Friday.

You don't want it! And I don't want to pass it around. One heckuva Christmas gift from god.
