The tiebreaker with Michigan must just be the overall win count.

Home court and Indian has close losses to decent teams. Not a surprise at all to me. Home court is the biggest factor

Yep. Winning on the road in the Big 10 is tough. Many of Nebraska’s home wins over the years were to teams that would be favored on a neutral site and bigger favorites at their home arena.

The spread has actually gone up to 3 and 1/2.

Sounds like Jamarques Lawrence tweaked his back and twisted his ankle the last game.

Sheesh, Nebraska just won 83-77.

Ranked 10 now, they'll have to be creeping up on Creighton's highest ever ranking of 7 before long.

You'd never know the Huskers were down by 16 in the 2nd half....

On another note, Wisconsin stunned Michigan 91-88 today. So Michigan is no longer undefeated.

I will admit, down 16 on the road at Indiana in the second half....I thought for sure we were taking our first loss.

Also, realize there are no guarantees, but there are two winnable games in front of them before the next poll. Here's to dreaming that they set a new high-water mark.

More sellouts. In fact, the only 2 remaining games that have not sold out are Washington and Maryland:

For an 8PM start, the place was rocking

With about 7 Min left, a few people started to leave. Not someting that happens for the first time, but history shows it happens when the Huskers are losing big.

Nebraska Basketball 2025-2026

Post by nebugeater »

Sat on the road at Northwestern.

No givens and have not seen a line yet. As of this morning, KenPom has the Huskers at #15 (up a couple since I last looked) and Northwestern at #56. They are 8-8 for the season and play Illinois tonight before the Huskers

3 PM Cent game time on the B1G network

The Huskers have 5 Quad 1 and 4 Quad 2 wins
Northwestern has 3 Quad 1 losses and has 2 wins vs 3 losses agains quad 2 competition

Not to me

Road/home games in the B1G 10 carry a lot of weight for the home team.

Yeah completely agree. Even Nebraska has been a tough place to play against at home many years when facing far superior Big 10 opponents.

Saw this elsewhere but had to share.

The Nebraska Spring game is set for March 28

In a dream season, the Husker men's basketball team makes it to the Elite 8 in the NCAA tournament and plays on the same day. Put it on the big boards at Memorial Stadium!

The game with Washington is officially a sellout. The only game for the rest of the season that has sold out is Maryland in February and there's not a ton left for that one either.
