Awesome update Brad!

FYI for everyone - I installed a new extension recently that allows you to click the photos to open a larger view. It doesn't appear to do so on mobile though.

My Desktop PC with 27" monitors does not allow me to click through to see my photos larger? They are actually smaller now than they were before.

i know someone that is in the know, and i know they got to sign off on the final piece of steel for the building. Should be there/arriving soon, and will be in place before long.

The crow steel was on site and ready to go up after they finish some concrete work on the top. The Crown Steel is white unlike the rest. I totally forgot to ask about a final beam.

Off topic but looking down at the Duo you can see the infamous 16th street sink hole. It's not entirely clear but it looks filled in and may only need final concrete finish work? We can only hope.

Interesting. There's already carpet down, but no ceiling? If a drop ceiling is to be installed, they still have to redo the fire sprinklers. Seems a bit odd?

It will have open ceilings. There is an acoustical material sprayed on top of the fire coating.

If they're following Kiewit and HDR, then that is pretty much the finished product minus permanent lighting fixtures.

The crown appears to be another two floors tall, so its nearly as tall as a 48 story building?

Thanks for illustrating Brad, that’s what I was thinking based on the original renderings.

Actually I was thinking 44 stories but since those 2 are double floors, I was thinking it would be 46 floors equivalent.

I think the important qualifier here is "office tower." I think Miami's all have a residential/hotel component where MoO is all office space.

If you've seen the tower recently during sunset/golden hour, the second rendering directly from Pickard Chilton shows the hyper-reflectivity of the building well... almost identical in glazing appearance; it's probably my favorite feature of the building itself.

I agree with your statement, but I was thinking more in terms of the crown of the building. The Pickard Chilton rendering makes it all look enclosed, while the first rendering looks like the very top is more open.

There was a change to the top after the first round of renderings came out. I never asked what that change was, but I would say what ever renderings came out later are correct. Just to be clear, all the official renderings were done by the Pickard Chilton.
