Such a great weekend for Husker baseball. I saw where Oregon is ranked again too. I think they had also dropped out of at least some polls.

I was at the Fri and Sat games. was unable to make Sun due to a scheduling conflict. The two games I was at were probably the best home-game environments since the Big 12 days. Even though it was as cool as it was Fri night, it was great. I wonder how many people who left in the seventh down by 5 didn't admit to leaving early come Saturday morning.

Probably like when Nebraska came back against Ohio State when it was raining or against Northwestern on the Hail Mary. I was at both games. Several left in my section at half time of Ohio State. For Northwestern had a bunch leave after Northwestern's last score. Both in the Pelini era.

Yeah but pretty good for a Tuesday night. The atmosphere down there is crazy. Their student section is top of the line for baseball.

It's all about the $$$$ - I feel for the players, but they should have been able to take down OSU.

Scratching my head at the decision to start the next game at 6 now...looks like a pretty decent chance we stay relatively dry and if you got that game going at 3:30 you could get at least one of the last two in tonight.

Edit: I guess the argument could be made the second two game winners both playing tomorrow would be on more similar footing than making just 1 team play twice tomorrow but still.

The Husker / Michigan game ended just before 2 AM. Started at 11 PM. The crowd was great considering all the delays and not knowing for sure if the game was going to be played utill the end of the UCLA game

The initial report was that there needed to be a 65 Min gap between games. And the latest they could start was 11 PM per Big Ten rules. They really wanted to get it played. About the 7th inning of the UCLA game, they announced that the Husker game would be played if the game was over by 10:20. They shortened the time between the games. The scoreboard clock read exactly 10:20 when UCLA won. The grounds crew was out before the teams were even off the field.

I can argue both ways that they should have played as they did or they should have postponed untill Sat.

Eather way it was fun to be at and a long day at the ballpark

The park looks great. Love the additions for the scoreboard and ribbon boards. It's almost an info overload if you try to take it all in.
