I can’t say I’m surprised. Every time I was there it seemed like I was the only customer in the store.

Omaha is built on cars, gas stations and their convenient stores do well here with the right location, which is practically everywhere. They started off in value locations, but maybe they have investment from outside sources since they have been in the market for a while now and are pretty established with valuable locations.

Gotta wonder how Caseys has to sell some of their stores to avoid becoming a monopoly when Megasaver has stores at 90th and Maple, 88th and Maple, and 88th and Blondo, just for one example

Also agree, Saddle Creek & Hamilton is their "best" location. I've never been, but from the outside, it is their best attempt at being a legit good convenience store/gas station. All the other locations are just TP4L for all who knew them. If they consolidated and upgraded all the remaining locations to that level, they would be borderline legit. Except for the bongs, spice, and burner phones part.

I can second complaints about how rough the management is on employees. And how poorly they take care of their properties. That parking lot is pretty small for a gas station too. They're not a good neighbor, I would hope this doesn't come to fruition.

Their store on 120th and Pacific is fine and the one on 144th and Blondo seems good.

I know a large number of people, especially women, that won't go to a MegaSaver at all. It's always been kind of amazing to me that they seem to remain successful with how many people actively avoid them or drive around them to go somewhere else (myself included in this group).

I equate MegaSaver with the "Tobacco & Phones 4 Less" chain (which I don't think is around anymore). Just horrible employees delivering horrible customer service in stores I don't feel comfortable being in. At least, that was my experience. As always, YMMV. Honestly, with more preferable chains in town like Kum & Go, QuikTrip, Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh Express, and Casey's I just have no need to ever patronize MegaSaver.

I’m sure I’m not the first person to think of this, but I call it “Meth Saver.” I mean, wow. Those places are nasty. One near my office burns incense in the store, which just smells foul. And I’m fairly sure I’d fail a drug test if I walked within a block of that place.
