It’s going to be the Knicks and the Spurs. They start on Tuesday.

I was rooting for OKC, but San Antonio is quite impressive.

The Knicks are intriguing to me because they are basically an NBA version of Villanova. Mikal Bridges, Jalen Brunson, and Josh Hart are all 'Nova men.

Im very glad OKC got booted. I really cant stand SGAs play style. Knicks and spurs should be fun, both play great team basketball, but one is mostly vets and one is a bunch of young players.

I remember as a kid when these two teams met. Tim Duncan won his first Finals and finals MVP, and only in his second year. Seems like history is repeating itself, but I would love to see the Knicks win the Finals. I personally really like this team and would like to see a veteran laden team win this year. Victor can win a bunch after this year.

I think NY has this. The Spurs might get it to 6 games, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the Knicks swept this serires..

If NY wins, it'll be their first NBA Championship since 1973. 53 years…

Super impressive final couple of minutes by Jalen Brunson. Unfortunately for NY, that style of heroball will not be sustainable. Spurs currently favored by 5.5 for Friday's game.

I tend to agree with this. Though Jalen was very inefficient prior to his 4th quarter flurry.

Jalen Brunson is one of "those players" that seems to be able to turn into BEAST MODE when he needs to.

Crazy game. The Knicks won despite Brunson shooting 7-25. And Josh Hart scored zero points!

Were the Spurs' mistakes in the final minute a reflection of their inexperience, or just bad luck?

I think it was partially inexperience but more of the Knicks' pressure, game plan, and roster makeup. The athleticism, length, and strength of the Knicks' wings and perimeter defenders prevent the Spurs' vaunted guard/wing depth from playing their game and playing with pace. It keeps them off rhythm and scrambling, and it keeps Victor from getting the ball in his spots or rolling to the hoop. Lots of mentions here about Brunson's poor shooting splits but Wemby's are not good either and he should be and needs to be much more efficient. His decision making has questionable at best, especially off ball.

This feels like such a good series already. Lotta physicality, team play, star power, youngsters v. vets dynamic. Been really fun to watch so far.

Wow! The Knicks were down 29 points, but then they came back and won Game 4 107-106. Incredible! Game 5 will be Saturday back in San Antonio. If they win that, they'll win the NBA Championship.

Here's the game winner. Thank god ESPN posted the normal video and not a stupid vertical video like everyone else does...

I only got to really watch the last 10 or so minutes of the game, but what a glorious half hour that was.

I've been rooting for the Knicks. However, I've really learned to like some of the Spurs players, particularly Wembanyama, Vassell, and Harper. I feel kind of sorry for them given the painful ways they have found to lose.

The Knicks just won Game 5 94-90. So there you have it. The Knicks are NBA Champions. It's party time in New York.

This was the most entertaining finals in years. I still don't understand why the Spurs so consistently allowed their leads to evaporate.

The Villanova men played well. Brunson obviously; but Hart and Bridges added 6 three-pointers with 27 points. Perhaps the Knicks can swing a trade to get Donte DiVincenzo back in the fold for 2027.

I don’t think the Spurs intentionally allowed their leads to slip. The Knicks were probably just that good.
