They're continuing to take out the windows for the 14th and 15th floors, but they'll eventually have to take out ALL of the windows on the north tower to replace them with windows that can open like the south tower has.

Do they do that from the inside or outside? Either way, I'd be nervous as heck, like putting a window AC unit in on the 15th floor. Don't drop it!

Good observation....I noticed that too. NuStyle doesn't mess around.
This company has developed at a breakneck pace. I'm seriously curious about the quality inside, but either way, this many units coming online this quickly is going to put such amazing downward pressure on the downtown rental market. Really excited to see this complete.

that looks better than I imagined it would. I don't know what my expectations were really but it looks super cool and the views are great. I'm sure it's going cost a grip, but if I had the money, I'd sure like to have that spot

Can't stress it enough.....what NuStyle has done for Omaha is amazing. In most cities, these spaces would sit empty for a very long time and they just keep coming in and churning out an amazing product that sells.

I’m amazed how inexpensive these are. The forgettable apartment I lived in in Council Bluffs many years ago is currently renting for $200 more per month than some of these.

$1,290 a month for a 1 bedroom apartment being inexpensive shows how |expletive| we currently are.

unfortunately, if people are willing to pay it and they don't sit empty, then perhaps the leasing company is keener (more keen? whatever) on valuations than we give them credit for?

Going through their floor plans, I always forget that it's legal in Omaha to have a bedroom without a window

Is this unusual? It’s not required, and in many new condo developments it is commonplace not to have bedroom windows in PV.

This reminded me that a friend who was in the Air Force, had an apartment in the old market lofts a few years back on the east side that was next to the parking under the 10th street bridge, it had zero windows. It felt like a bomb shelter.

Yes, it's still there. It was a mess for a long time but it's generally accessible lately. I imagine they got a lease deal. I think it's odd they've made no effort to fix their signage through all of the construction.

i think it's odd they don't fix it for the simple fact that it's a fancy place on the inside with some pretty decent food. i can't imagine it's cost-prohibitive.

This should help with density along 16th st once it reaches its full height of 10 floors. That’s a lot of new apartments for downtown.

Some really crummy views out of the west side of the main 2 towers if you're on 10 or below. Directly looking at that parking garage / other apartments across the alley.

If I recall those are the cheapest units to rent in the entire building...

Some people its probably more about the location than the view. Also they have so many community spaces in that building, some with incredible views, even if your unit didn't have a view, you can get an amazing view with a quick elevator trip.

I have a unit in the building but I looked at one facing south. Leasing agents were very up front about the idea that those units will have an obstructed view as construction continues.

Lol I love em. The gym is pretty decently sized on the ground floor, the community rooms on the first, second and top floors are nice and the views are awesome, just wish they'd do a few more events up there so they can get some good use.
Can't wait for the hot tub to open on the top of the north tower hopefully in time for winter.

Apparently it's going to be 12 stories. 6 floors of apartments over 6 levels of garage.
