Mixed use plans require a landscape plan to be submitted with them. They must use city approved trees.

On page 9 of the Kensington Park Mixed use, plan (Link Below) you will see the landscape plan. On the Baker's lot, they show and island every 10 parking stalls and every island has a tree in it. All the streets are also lined with trees. Trees are usually planted after construction is complete so they are not damaged during construction.

I noticed the fuel canopy for Baker's is going up.

Also, the painted part of the Baker's building blue. After seeing Baker's red for all these years, its interesting seeing the blue.
