There was also a tornado warning around 3am north of Columbus with radar indicated rotation very near Humphrey. Nebraska.

I am hearing reports of 4+ inches in Fremont. Don't know if those are exaggerated or not, but there was a lot of rain and street flooding here.

At 5 AM, when I left Gretna, visibility was not good for the first half of my drive.

Friends in the Oakand NE area who I know have reported accurate amounts of 2 to 2 1/2 inches in different locations.

Spot checking some weather stations in Fremont, I'm seeing a few around 3.5". Same with Blair.

My house got just under 2".

i don't think i'd be surprised if they did, to be honest with you. I had to pull over on I-80, it was blowing me around and the rain was coming down in sheets. I even took a video, it looked like a hurricane, seriously

i don't think we got a lot of rain, but this morning i ran into a literal wall of water at 84th. I could see it when i was approaching but it looked like dense fog in the dark. Then by the time i hit the gretna walmart exit, it was done

I got a little under a tenth from the first round, but more than a quarter inch from the lunchtime downpour.

Thank god for this reasonable weather coming. If its below 70 by 10pm, call me a happy camper. Its exciting knowing fall is around the corner.

What a great overnight and day today. I opened my windows right after the Skers game, woke up to 66 in the house, and it is still 66, and windows will stay open til tomorrow morning. I dont remember when was the last time It was cool enough for windows during the day, but Im sure loving it! Hopefully a sign of whats to come.

I dont know what the long term outlook is, but it would be nice to buck the overly warm fall/winter trend.

Very fall like this evening in Omaha. But then a brief warm up tomorrow with highs in upper 80’s. Maybe we are about done with the 90’s till next year, I wouldn’t mind that.

I've been seeing that the weather is going to turn sour this afternoon. Tennis ball sized hail, tornadoes, possible flash flooding... Reed Timmer said they are going to be headed our way, if that's any indication of what could be to come.

Lots of rain and lightening, but otherwise a fairly mild storm. Here's a photo of what it looked like when we pulled in to the Ralston Arena before practice tonight.

Yeah, definitely didn't live up to the hype, but the area DID get, and is still getting, a lot of rain.

Pretty much on and off rain we’ve had since Sunday. Four mornings in a row it’s rained. Somewhat unusual for mid September in Omaha.

Tomorrow is supposed to be 87, and I'll be planting my fall transplants Friday. Right around the typical target date, maybe a little late. You expect to be safe from any more hot days after tomorrow, with a large grain of salt of course. This stretch of mostly 70's is promising.
