Things happening in Fremont

I didn't find a general thread for Fremont like some other places, so I'm starting one.

The Staples office supply store in Fremont is closing in December. I believe I saw that the last day will be Dec 18. It is also reported that they are closing becuase they lost the lease becuase the building has been sold. It will be interesting to see what happens to the building.

There is also a Planet Fitness, a Laundromate, a realtor, and probably a couple I am not remembering, all under the same roof.

It sounds like the Evangelical Free Church purchased the building, and they will be moving there. Plenty of people seem upset that they are taking over what is a pretty decent retail location in Fremont and that this prime property will also come off the tax rolls.
