Just wanted to invite everyone to this special event this Friday from 4:30-7:30pm. Myth is providing a open bar at the Kimball Lofts, in addition to hot and cold appetizers from the Magnolia Hotel at both locations. Tons of prize giveaways and such.
Would love to see a bunch of you guys down there!
Thanks!

"someone" managed to get Mr and Ms Big E into Nomad. Next thing we know we'll be watching a baseball game in north downtown.

With Big E alone posting messages on the internets at 2am? Apparently someone found a use.

They're definitely prizes, but definitely not for the door.

Does anyone have any pics of the Magnolia (beyond what's on their website)? It looks great from what I can tell!

From the outside, this reminds me a lot of the Monaco in DC; definitely a good thing! Something tells me Mrs Tuna would love an overnighter here...

That would be "Big E"

Thanks Omababe! How recent are those pics? The ones on the hotel website show a different awning and black trim on the windows.
It also looks like they have a nice lobby, however the site's pics of the presidential suite make it look pretty bland compared to, say, its Houston hotel's presidential suite.

It was on a Monday evening last February, maybe even late January, 2007. I remember it was cold, but not that uncomfortable.
Glad you like them.
